What is RSI?

In remote simultaneous interpretation, the speaker's audio is sent to interpreters who are working remotely. They listen and interpret in real time, and their interpreted audio is streamed back to the audience through a platform. There are no booths to build and no interpreters to fly in, which is why RSI has become a standard way to add professional human interpreting to online, hybrid and even in-person events. Platforms like Zoom include an interpretation feature that assigns interpreters to language channels that participants can select.

The gap RSI leaves

RSI platforms are good at reaching a remote, online audience. Where it gets awkward is bringing that human interpreter audio into the physical room, onto the venue's receivers and onto the guests' phones, and combining it cleanly with any AI channels you are also running. Managing one system for the online RSI feed, another for the in-room receivers and a third for AI quickly becomes a tangle. That is the gap LisanPro AI closes.

LisanPro AI as the distribution layer

LisanPro AI sits between your interpreters and your audience. It integrates with solutions such as Zoom's interpretation feature, takes the human interpreters' channels, and distributes them wherever the event needs: to attendees' smartphones via QR, to the venue's infrared or RF receivers such as Bosch, Taiden and Televic, as live captions on screen, and to the online stream. Your remote human interpreters reach the people in the room and the people online through one consistent workflow, under operator control.

Human, AI, or both, in the same event

You do not have to choose one or the other. Keep human interpreters, delivered over RSI, for the languages and sessions that demand professional interpreting, and add AI channels for scale, for rare or hard-to-source languages, or for overflow. Both run side by side through LisanPro AI and reach the same audience the same way, so the listener simply selects a channel without knowing or caring whether it is human or AI behind it.

Where it fits

  • Hybrid & Online Events. Zoom or Teams events with human RSI distributed in the room as well.
  • Conferences & Summits. Uses remote interpreters but needs in-room receivers and smartphones.
  • Mixed Modality. Events mixing human interpreting for core languages and AI for the rest.
  • Agency Friendly. Institutions working with interpreting agencies wishing for cleaner distribution.

Frequently asked questions

Does LisanPro AI replace human interpreters?

No. For RSI it distributes the audio of your human interpreters. You can also add AI channels alongside them in the same event, and choose per language where each belongs.

Does it work with Zoom interpretation?

Yes. It integrates with solutions such as Zoom's interpretation feature, and with Microsoft Teams, so the interpreters' channels reach both the online audience and the room.

Can the human interpreter audio reach people in the room?

Yes. That is the point. LisanPro AI takes the remote interpreters' channels and delivers them to smartphones and to the venue's infrared or RF receivers, so the in-room audience hears the human interpretation too.

Can we mix human and AI languages?

Yes. Human RSI and AI channels run side by side and reach the audience the same way, selectable on the same device.
